Currently working on my playlist for this weeks podcast. Hadn’t reached back into the 4AD bag in a while. Thought this deserved a separate post for the late night. I used to know a girl who played this song a couple of times, nearly every night before bed. Not out of some goth-devotion or because she needed to end her night on a sad note, but because she said it helped her dream. I suppose in that context, the song isn’t so sad. I wonder if she still listens to this or if she’s found another hazy, dreamy bit of music to do the trick.
